Favorite Books December 3, 2008

A list of my favorite books, in no particular order.  Typically, a requirement for being one of my “favorite” is that long after I read it I continue to think about it all the time.

1.  Stargirl and Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli.

2.  The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.

3.  Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech.

4.  A Wrinkle in Time and its sequels by Madeleine L’Engle

5.  The Giver by Lois Lowry

6.  The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot (I love how she captures the 14 yr old voice so well)

7.  Picture Perfect by Jodi Piccoult

8. Mansfield Part by Jane Austen.

9.  Of course…. Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
