Last night I finished The Hidden Diary of Marie Antoinette for the second time.  At the end of the book there is an interview by Carolly Erickson in which they ask her what it’s like to be a full time writer.  She of course replied that she loves it.  She said she only writes between one and two hours a day and finishes a novel every six months.  The rest of the time she just relaxes at her home in Hawaii.  Talk about living the dream!

I would like to take a moment here to clarify that this is my motivation, not my inspiration. Thinking about lounging around in my sweats and writing and reading and leaving the rat race really motivated me to harvest all my inspiration and passion and to work on my book!
