My name is Stephanie and I’m a young twenty-something still learning the ropes of the “real world”. I’m hoping to break into the writing world, writing YA novels, and plan on documenting my progress here.
By day I teach a 5th and 6th grade combo at a small school. I have a love/hate relationship with my job, but my students definitely give me food for thought.
I try to live a diversity-filled life. Although I’m a Western European mutt (Italian, German, French, Greek, Scottish, Irish, English) I speak Spanish fluently. My long-time boyfriend is a Chinese immigrant. Just to add to the confusion, I also live in a predominantly gay community.
What else? I like to read, do yoga, knit, and walk. I hope to own a weiner dog one day.
